During my first year at the École nationale de cirque, I had the opportunity to take part in the creation Pop, directed by Mélissa Collelo. This colorful piece was inspired by the theme of a festive party and was performed as the opening act for the graduating students’ show.
I had a moment in duo with Matthieu Larose, a kind of friendly, fraternal battle in hand to hand/acrobatic duo work. We played with slow motion, acceleration, and rewinds, creating a surprising physical dialogue.
The show was performed in the Trèfle, the TOHU big top, providing an intimate and stimulating setting for this collaborative experience.
