FRÉDÉRIC LANGEVIN

ABOUT
I grew up in the suburbs of Montreal and discovered the world of circus at the age of eight, drawn by the diversity of its disciplines. I spent many years practicing circus at the École de cirque de Verdun, before getting into the National circus school of Montreal where I specialized in hoop diving (solo) and hand to hand.
Together with my hand to hand partner from the time, and through my solo work, we developed vocabulary around bouncing blocks. Two mats used for jumping, acrobatics, movements and new ways of using stage space.
Since graduating in 2024, I have had the opportunity to work with Circus Monti, The 7 Fingers and Cirque du Soleil, and to participate in the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Alongside my performing career, I also work as a performance and circus photographer. Through the media platform MATTV, I have covered artists and shows such as Hans Zimmer, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, The Cult, Passenger and The 7 Fingers.
